Buspar is a prescription drug. It works by helping to control the effects of certain chemicals in the brain. A person taking it should have symptoms that include changes in how they feel, how they think, and how they behave. There are many different types of buspar, and it can be used to treat anxiety, panic disorder, and other mental health conditions.

Some people have anxiety symptoms, such as having trouble sleeping, feeling anxious, or having trouble focusing on work or school. If these symptoms are severe, they can be treated. Buspar can help to control anxiety by making people feel relaxed, sleepy, and more comfortable.

People with anxiety disorder usually have anxiety symptoms that begin at the beginning of their treatment. If these symptoms worsen or start to worsen, or if the person feels overwhelmed, they should seek professional help. The treatment of anxiety symptoms will depend on their diagnosis and their underlying factors, and can be very challenging for them.

Common anxiety disorder medications include:

  • Tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs) like Paxil (paroxetine) or Zoloft (sertraline)
  • Bupropion (bupropion)
  • Paroxetine (paroxetine) and Prozac (fluoxetine)
  • Sertraline (sertraline) and Zoloft (sertraline)
  • Trazodone (doxazosin) and Zoloft (sertraline)

If you feel anxious at first, your doctor may prescribe a combination of these medications to help control your symptoms. These include:

  • Buspar (buspirone) and Ativan (lorazepam)

The most common anxiety medications in the United States include:

  • Anticonvulsants (afungin, sineurin, mirtazapine)
  • Cimetidine (Tagamet, Tagamet HB, Tagamet HB-T, Pabellumet HB, Pabellumet HB-T, Zantac, Zantac H, Zantac-T, and others)
  • Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs)
  • Tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs), including Fluoxetine (sertraline) and Prozac (fluoxetine),
  • Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), including Fluoxetine (sertraline), Seroquel (quetiapine)
  • Serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs)
  • Divalproex (Depakote)
  • Fluvoxamine (fluvoxamine) and Prozac (fluoxetine)
  • Propranolol (Inderal)
  • Fluoxetine (sertraline)

If you have taken buspirone, fluoxetine, or a SSRI, you should be cautious about taking these medications. These medications can have side effects that can make it hard for your body to process and respond to the medication. Common side effects of buspirone and fluoxetine include:

  • Dizziness
  • Headache
  • Drowsiness
  • Nausea
  • Constipation
  • Fatigue
  • Mood swings
  • Dry mouth
  • Increased sweating
  • Increased blood pressure

If you experience any of the symptoms above, you should see your doctor right away.

Buspar has been shown to cause some side effects. Talk to your health care provider if these mild reactions do not go away within a few days.

This is not a complete list of adverse reactions caused by Buspar. Call your doctor immediately if you experience a skin rash; hives; swelling of the eyes, face, mouth, throat, or lips; agitation; severe vomiting; blurred vision; a fast or irregular heartbeat; or uncontrollable shaking. Call your doctor immediately if you have severe muscle stiffness, twitching, seizures, hallucinations, or fever.

As with all prescription medications, be sure to inform the prescribing doctor about any medical conditions you have been previously diagnosed with and any medication/ supplements you are currently taking before taking Buspar. Buspar can interact with other forms of medication, causing potentially serious side effects. Specifically, inform your health care provider if you have or have had liver or kidney disease or a history of substance abuse. Finally, let your doctor know if you are pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant before starting treatment with this medication.

Vomiting is a possible side effect of this medication. Ifland have launched a new product, Buspar. Buspar is primarily indicated for the treatment of acute generalized anxiety disorder (AGAD; panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, or tension-type B). The exact diagnosis of buspar buspirone dosage and frequency of administration is not known. Treatment with Buspar can be significantly improved by reducing the amount of drowsiness that is caused by this medication. This medication is a prescription-only drug. This reduces the likelihood that Buspar may cause dangerous side effects for some individuals. Buspar is available as an oral tablet and an intravenous (i.v.) solution. The oral tablet form is available in doses of 400 mg, 600 mg, and 875 mg. Intravenous drowsiness is considered the mainstay of treatment for buspar. However, this medication is also used in combination with other benzodiazepines, to reduce the dosage of buspirone that is used as a rescue medication when buspar has not cleared from your system.

BuSpar is used to treat a variety of mental disorders, including anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia. It is also used to prevent and treat depression. However, it may also be prescribed for other conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder.

When prescribed, your healthcare provider will likely start you on a low dose to lower your risk of side effects, and gradually increase it to reach the maximum recommended dose. Your healthcare provider also will closely monitor your response to the drug.
